Jon Barker

Jon Barker is a Senior Research Scientist in the Applied Deep Learning Research team at NVIDIA. Jon joined NVIDIA in 2015 and has worked on a broad range of applications of deep learning including object detection and segmentation in satellite imagery, optical inspection of manufactured GPUs, malware detection, resumé ranking and audio denoising. Prior to joining NVIDIA Jon worked in the UK and US government specializing on analytics and machine learning for remote sensing. Jon has a PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Southampton, UK.
